一、会议简介
高速铁路（HSR）不仅提高了城市之间的可达性，而且促进了区域发展。自1964年第一条高铁新干线在日本开通以来，许多欧洲国家也开始在核心城市之间建设高铁。尽管中国高铁起步晚了近40年，但近十年来，高铁发展取得了令人瞩目的成就。到2021年底，中国拥有最大的高铁网络，全长约4万公里。作为促进中国经济发展的国家战略，高铁线路不仅覆盖了一线城市，还覆盖了二、三线城市。在这种情况下，研究高铁对区域发展的影响对于确保可持续发展势在必行。因此，本次研讨会提供了一个平台，讨论未来城市开发和增强高铁服务（硬件和软件）的各种机遇和挑战。研讨会的目标是从跨学科的角度引入全球最新研究，以识别高铁与区域发展之间的关系，为规划无障碍、高效、公平和可持续的未来交通开辟道路。

Dr Guillaume CARROUET
Lecturer, ART-Dev research laboratory, University of Perpignan Via Domitia, France
Dr Guillaume CARROUET is Lecturer in Geography and regional planning in ART-Dev research laboratory. He analyses the relationship between transports (infrastructures and services), territories and planning in France. Specifically, he analyses transport public policies in France (HSR, national and regional transport (especially new development of night train)). Moreover, since his PhD, he conducts research on HSR and its impacts in France (economy development, inter-modality and regional transport system).
Dr Chia-Lin CHEN
Lecturer, Urban Planning at Department of Geography and Planning, University of Liverpool, UK
Dr Chia-Lin CHEN is Lecturer in Urban Planning at Department of Geography and Planning, University of Liverpool. Her research interests lie in exploring the relationship between transport and territorial dynamism across different spatial scales, seeking potential solutions through design, integrated and strategic planning and governance. She has involved in co-authoring and co-editing several books and special issue on high-speed rail and development, including “Improving Interchanges: Toward Better Multimodal Railway Hubs in the People's Republic of China” (Asian Development Bank, 2015), “Handbook on Transport and Urban Transformation” (Edward Elgar, 2020), Special Issue on Built Environment on “Impacts of High-speed Rail: Hub, Linkage and Development” (September 2020), and “High-speed Rail Cities and Regions: Spatial Implications and Planning Criteria” (Routledge, 2021).
Professor Becky P.Y. LOO (Keynote Speaker)
Professor, Department of Geography, The University of Hong Kong, China
Prof Becky P.Y. Loo’s core research interests are sustainable transport, future cities, and smart technologies. She adopts a people-oriented and place-based approach in analysing pertinent issues related to smart cities, sustainability, regional transport infrastructure and development, transit-oriented development, walkable communities, and road safety. Becky is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, UK (FAcSS). Moreover, Becky is an Honorary Professor at University College London (UCL), UK and a Chang Jiang Scholar and Chair Professor conferred by the Ministry of Education, PRC (長江學者講座教授). Becky is known as “one of the foremost Asian scholars working in the area of infrastructure, transportation and urban transformation”. She is on the Stanford University Top 2% Scientists of the world in both 2019 and 2020, and based both on career-long and year-specific citations. Besides, she has previously received prestigious appointments as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar (DVS) at the University of Oxford (UK), a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the University of Birmingham (UK), and a Visiting Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) (PRC) (客座研究員), Griffith University (Australia), the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (Chile), and the University of Montreal (Canada).
Dr Amparo MOYANO
Associate professor, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain
Dr Amparo MOYANO holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (2018) from the University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM), Spain. She is currently an associate professor and researcher in the School of Civil Engineering of the same institution. Her main lines of research relate to transport and urban planning, especially focused on 1) territorial effects of high-speed rail systems and their influence on mobility patterns and 2) mobility and accessibility analysis using new methods and data sources (Big Data) and 3) ‘transport equity/justice’ in long-distance mobility, focusing on spatial and social exclusion evaluation.
Professor Roger VICKERMAN (Keynote Speaker)
Emeritus Professor of Economics, University of Kent, UK
Roger Vickerman is Emeritus Professor of Economics, University of Kent and Visiting Professor and Chair, Transport Strategy Centre, Imperial College London. He has published widely on many aspects of transport and is the author or editor of 14 books and over 200 papers or chapters. His recent research has focussed on the wider economic impacts of transport infrastructure investments, on which he has advised governments around the world. He was Editor in Chief of the journal Transport Policy from 2010-2016 and is Editor in Chief of Elsevier’s International Encyclopaedia of Transportation. He was awarded the Jules Dupuit Prize of the World Conference on Transport Research Society in 2016.
Professor Jiaoe WANG

Jiaoe Wang is a full-time professor at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She is also the deputy director of Key Laboratory of Regional Sustainable Development Modeling CAS, the director of Economic Geography and Regional Development Department at IGSNRR, and a part-time professor in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Her main research interests are transport geography and regional development, big data and urban transportation, public transit and health seeking behavior, and infrastructure development in BRI. She has published more than 160 peer-reviewed papers, 8 books and one atlas. She was rewarded the Excellent Young Scientist from NSFC in 2017. She has ever granted five projects from NSFC, and received prizes from National Development and Reform Commission of China in 2016, and from China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2016 and 2018. She was the winner of the twelfth scientific and technological awards to young geographers by The Geographical Society of China in 2013. She serves as the Associate Editor of Journal of Transport Geography, and the advisory editor board of Transport Reviews, Journal of Transport and Land Use, Transportation Letters (In English) and Economic Geography, World Regional Studies, Tropical Geography (In Chinese) now. She is also the deputy chair of Regional Studies Association China Division and Economic Geography Committee of The Geographical Society of China.
Professor Lei WANG

Lei Wang is research professor of the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Honorary Research Fellow, Department of Planning and Environmental Management, The University of Manchester. Prior to current post, he was Hallsworth research fellow at The University of Manchester and researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He obtained the PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests are high-speed rail effects, regional sustainable development and governance. He published more than 50 international journal papers and a monograph in Springer titled Changing Spatial Elements in Chinese Socio-economic Five-year Plan: from Project Layout to Spatial Planning.
Professor Hangjun YANG
Professor, School of International Trade and Economics, University of InternationalBusiness and Economics, Beijing, China
Hangjun Yang is a Professor and an Associate Dean of the School of International Trade and Economics at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China. He obtained his PhD degree from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. His main research interests are transport economics and logistics management. He has published more than 40 SSCI indexed papers in leading transportation journals, including Transportation Research Part B, Journal of Transport Economics and Policy, and Transportation Research Part A. He serves as an editorial member of Transport Policy.
Prof. Yang is selected in the National Youth Top Talents Program of China. He is the principle investigator of the Major Program of National Social Science Foundation of China. He has received various awards, e.g., the Academy Award for Young Teachers by the Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation, the Second Prize Award for Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences by the Ministry of Education of China, and the Second Prize Award for Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences by the Beijing Government.
